She is a member of the São Paulo Black Woman’s March, and the São Paulo Journalists for Racial Equality Commission, which is a consultative body of the Journalists Union. She is a frequent contributor to the main Brazilian leftist newspapers and magazines, such as Carta Capital and Brasil de Fato.
